“My first attempt at the CA State Bar I missed passing by 10 points. I passed the essay portion, but did not pass the multiple choice section. I found that Steve was a great coach who was able to get me out of the writing habits required for law school papers, and more geared toward writing for the State Bar. I found the structure that he uses is something that was easily repeatable across all subjects, and I used it to go back through all my black letter law and converted it to his structure. This made exam taking very methodical and easy and also helped with memorization. Although I had passed the essay portion on my first attempt already, I found the structure made the second taking of the Bar much easier and more methodical. Where I found I got the most benefit was from going through the multiple choice questions and using his approach to drill down problem areas. This was something I did not do as much of prior to my first attempt, and by using Steve’s method it quickly pointed out where my strengths and weaknesses were, and illuminated the reasons why I tended to miss certain questions. I personally took the shorter fast track program which was perfect for making up the few extra points I needed to pass.”
